Electric Cargo Bikes: Longtail and Fat-Tire Cargo Builds

Three cargo models: the longtail C18 built for family and fleet loads, and two fat-tire cargo builds — one of them rated to a 200 kg payload, the highest in the catalogue.

Cargo is an application this factory serves from two directions. The C18 is a purpose-built longtail: a 250W rear hub, a 720Wh battery and an extended rear deck designed for children, shopping and delivery boxes. The B17 and B17-C take the fat-tire route: big tires, strong motors and racks, for couriers and rural delivery where the road surface is part of the problem.

C18 — the longtail

The C18's published specification: a 48V 250W rear hub with a 48V 15Ah (720Wh) battery, 26-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels in longtail layout, Tektro mechanical disc brakes with motor cut-off levers, a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain with a KMC Z7 chain and a heavy-duty kickstand. The manufacturer's description adds the cargo furniture: a widened heavy-duty rear rack with bamboo deck boards, a child safety rail and an optional front basket. Its rated payload is 120 kg. B17 and B17-C — fat cargo

The B17 pairs a 1000W Bafang Ultra mid-drive with a 17.5Ah battery, a front basket and a rear rack on mixed 24/20-inch fat tires. The B17-C is the payload champion of the entire catalogue at a rated 200 kg, with a meal-box rear rack and wooden footboards described in its data — a delivery build in the most literal sense. Both are covered in the fat tire family and in the fleet guide Cargo Ebikes for Delivery Fleets.

Questions Buyers Ask

Can I order samples first?

Yes — under the factory's published sample policy, spare units can be provided for sampling; the sample fee and courier cost are paid by the buyer. Confirm availability for the models you want when you inquire.

What payload can the cargo models carry?

Rated maximum loads: C18 120 kg, B17 120 kg, B17-C 200 kg (manufacturer-published maximum load). If your fleet loads approach the rating, confirm how the load is defined and the rack and frame limits for the current build in your inquiry.

How long does production take?

The published lead time is 30–60 days after the advance payment is received, depending on the product category and order quantity. Ask us to confirm the schedule for the exact models in your inquiry.

What certificates do the products carry?

Certificates available upon request. Send your target market in the inquiry and we will confirm which documentation can be provided for the models you are sourcing.

A note on reading the ratings: the payload figures in the table are the manufacturer-published maximum loads. Working fleets should plan their daily loads with a margin below the rating — frames, racks and brakes all live longer that way — and buyers speccing for a specific load profile (child seats, delivery boxes, market goods) should describe it in the inquiry so the rack and deck configuration in the quotation matches the load it will actually carry, not a generic one.
