Carbon Fiber Bike Frames

The carbon frames behind the E18-A, E23, E18-B/C and EC city models — what they are, where carbon is extended to fork, bar and stem, and how frame supply works.

Carbon fiber appears in this catalogue on complete bikes first: the full-suspension fat frame of the E18-A, the trail frames of the E23, E18-C and E18-B, and the city frames of the EC2, EC3 and EC3-NEW. The EC3 goes furthest, extending carbon to the fork, handlebar and stem as well as the frame. Frame-level supply follows the same models — if a carbon frame is in production for a complete bike, it can be discussed as a frame program; the EC1's frame is listed in the carbon category but has no published parameter sheet, so no frame specification is quoted for it.

Specifying a Carbon Frame Program

Carbon programs live or die on interface discipline: the motor shell standard, battery format and capacity, headset and axle standards, and the tire clearance target all have to be fixed against the complete-bike build the frame comes from. The reliable method is to anchor the frame order to a production model (for example, “the E23 frame set”) and then agree any deviations in writing. Weight figures are not published for these frames in the manufacturer's model data, so none are quoted here — ask for the current frame specification sheet with your inquiry if weight is a contractual point.

Questions Buyers Ask

Can I order samples first?

Yes — under the factory's published sample policy, spare units can be provided for sampling; the sample fee and courier cost are paid by the buyer. Confirm availability for the models you want when you inquire.

How long does production take?

The published lead time is 30–60 days after the advance payment is received, depending on the product category and order quantity. Ask us to confirm the schedule for the exact models in your inquiry.

Carbon or alloy for a rental fleet?

Alloy, in almost every case: it tolerates handling damage and costs less to replace. Carbon earns its premium in retail ranges where riders lift and carry the bike. The full comparison is in the blog.

What certificates do the products carry?

Certificates available upon request. Send your target market in the inquiry and we will confirm which documentation can be provided for the models you are sourcing.

For distributors, a carbon frame program carries one extra duty: inspection guidance. Carbon's failure mode can hide under paint, so the retailers you supply should receive the simple routine — visual check for cracks and crushed fibers at clamps and impact points, a fingertip pass for soft spots, and a stop-and-refer rule for anything suspect after a crash. Agree the crash-replacement path when the frame program is quoted, not after the first incident; it is a small paragraph in the supply terms that protects the brand, the retailer and the rider in that order.
